Much had been said about a PR 4 which was once known to be a threshold between a bad ranking and a good one. Some claimed that it was just a superstitious belief. And some professed that there was no actual basis or evidence of a PR 4 page being crawled quite often every single day and that it could send heavy downpours of traffic.
Myth or not, I meekly have to divert my attention to the next rank for now and proceed with the list of Top 25 Free Classified Ads with Page Rank 5 or better. Posting free ads especially on those sites with PR 7 can give you powerful, quality backlinks executing SEO very well in your favor.
I didn�t include those free classified ads focusing only on jobs, web hosts, real estate nor car trades even if they have higher Page Ranks. Just bear with the short-term duration of these sites and renew every 3 or 6 months if you find them useful especially if you�re in the internet marketing or blogging service.

If you�d notice, it doesn�t always follow that a high Page Rank is equivalent to high Alexa ranking. Take Classifiedextra.ca for example. Its Alexa ranking is far from say, vivatstreet.co.uk, but it has a PR equivalent to the father of all classified ads, Craigslist.com. Launched sometime in 2008, it should combine the reach of one of Canada�s largest daily and community newspaper publishers, Quebecor Media and with one of the country�s largest online properties, Canoe.ca. No wonder Classifiedextra.ca has a customer base of 20 million across the country.
Launched in the US in July 2007, Kijiji.com has a Page Rank of 6, but since one would be brought to ebayclassifieds when clicked, it was exempted from this list. Ebayclassifieds anyway belongs to the Top 10.
While this list isn�t a scientific study, these top 25 free classified ads should prove to be a handy reference for your imminent success. Place your free ads on at least a couple of them (particularly Craigslist and Alibaba/Rediff) and visit your analytics on a later date. Most of the related figures are expected to soar. And if you can do better than that, just do the same to 5, 10 or even all of them. After all, it�s free. Once done, anticipate at least a magnitude of 5 in the Richter scale especially in the borders of US, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Canada, China and Russia where it�ll be greatly felt.
