The censor board has given an �A� certificate to Madhur Bhandarkar�s much talked about film, �Heroine�, which stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead.

Breaking the news on Twitter, Madhur Bhandarkar said, �As expected got a �A� certificate from the censor board. Countdown begins for the launch of the poster & promo of #Heroine,� Bhandarkar posted.

From what we hear, �Heroine� exposes the Indian film industry. It gives us a glimpse of the real world behind the closed doors of make-up rooms and vanity vans.

Based on the life of a superstar heroine Mahi Arora, being essayed by Kareena Kapoor, the film also stars, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta and Helen in the supporting roles.

Heroine will release in September.
